DESCRIPTION:The monumental triumph of escaping abusive environments often demands everything of survivors. As a pro bono attorney with HRI\, you can make a difference.  \nWe invite potential legal volunteers to our virtual CLE to learn immigration basics\, how to represent a client\, and ethical considerations. This comprehensive training covers Asylum\, VAWA\, U-Visa\, and SIJ (unaccompanied children) and is the first step in doing pro bono work with HRI. \n1.5 CLE credits with .25 ethics credit \nRSVP our Volunteer Director for the Zoom link and calendar invite.
