DESCRIPTION:At HRI\, the holiday season is celebrated in various ways\, but a common theme amongst all client households  is spending time with family and loved ones. HRI family structures vary from clients and programs. For example\, KH doesn’t have any blood relatives in the US\, but spends holidays with his two closest friends that welcomed him into this country. VB is a single mom of four children\, who celebrates Christmas with her children who depend on her and vice versa.  MT celebrates the holidays with her aunt\, uncle\, and cousins\, but makes sure to give her brother in her home country a call every year on Christmas day.  \nThis is why HRI and the Social Services Department want to make sure our clients have the resources to celebrate without any stressors that usually arise during this time of the year! We want to continue our Holiday Wish Program to bring holiday cheer and joy. \nSocial Services will distribute gifts and gift cards . Want to donate? Contact SocialServices@HRIonline.org
