Our Commitment to Our Donors

  • We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.
  • This policy applies to all information received by HRI, both online and offline, on any Platform (“Platform”, includes the HRI website and mobile applications), as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications.
  • To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.
  • When you make a donation, you may be asked if you would like to receive further contact from us via our Site. If you indicate yes, you will be placed on our email distribution list and you may receive promotional correspondence from us from time to time in the future. If you later want to be removed from that list, you can remove yourself by following the directions in the correspondence you receive or following the “Opt-Out” procedures in this Privacy Policy.

CLE: Taking a Case with HRI (Virtual)

The monumental triumph of escaping abusive environments often demands everything of survivors. As a pro bono attorney with HRI, you can make a difference. We invite potential legal volunteers to our virtual CLE to learn immigration basics, how to represent a client, and ethical considerations. This comprehensive training covers Asylum, VAWA, U-Visa, and SIJ (unaccompanied children) and is the first step in doing pro bono work with HRI. 1.5 CLE credits with .25 ethics credit Email volunteer@hrionline.org to sign up!
