From 7 a.m. to 7. p.m. today, September 8, HRI is taking part in Giving Day, an online giving event hosted by Communities Foundation of Texas to promote their philanthropic platform DonorBridge.
So what does this mean exactly, you might ask?
Essentially, it means that any donation you make to HRI today between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. can go even further to help HRI continue its mission to help its clients. For every donation of $25 or more, Communities Foundation of Texas will match the amount. This can help us increase our outreach to clients through our Client Services program, provide us with the costs of running a safe office environment for clients to visit, and extend education and awareness about human rights abuses worldwide in local high schools and the community at large-among a variety of other things.
