I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2011 with a B.A. in government, history, and English. During my college years, I was a member of the White Rose Society, where I campaigned on campus for genocide awareness. I’ve always felt a calling to participate in social justice issues.
I was interested in working with HRI because I want to positively impact the world and it starts by working in my city, in my community. I’ve previously worked with the North Texas Fair Housing Center researching the housing market.
In my free time I volunteer at my church with the youth and children’s programs. I also love to read, travel, and write poetry.
