May 1, 2020: As a response to the international health-crisis, HRI installed a prevention work protocol for its staff. We will continue to follow that protocol until further notice:
- Permitting all staff who are able to work remotely to do so. We have created protocols to respond to emails, phone messages and the mail.
- We will not participate or host any community meetings. We will continue to meet clients, under strict social-distancing rules, because their immigration cases remain open.
- We want to acknowledge the contributions of workers who do not have the privilege of remote work places as well as professions that will continue to provide essential services.
- Limited number of HRI staff present at our offices. We carefully monitor office traffic.
