“Last month, we learned that the Administration planned to use the pandemic to radically reshape immigration because people wouldn’t be paying attention,” said Bill Holston, Executive Director of Human Rights Initiative of North Texas. “Yesterday’s proposed changes to dismantle the asylum system are working to make those plans reality. But now, more than ever, Americans are pushing back against white supremacy in its various forms. Let’s show the Administration they’ve miscalculated. We’re paying attention, and we know this is wrong.”
